Background:

 

 

A fantastic opportunity has arisen, due to the growth of the business, for an experienced Surveyor in Compulsory Purchase and Blight to take responsibility for and further grow TBPC’s offering in this area. The firm’s recent experience includes the expansion of Stanstead Airport, many major road schemes and HS2.
 

Responsibilities

 

Responsibilities will focus on delivering the company’s service offering in Compulsory Purchase and Blight. This will include:

  • Developing relationships with existing and potential clients
  • Advising clients at all stages of the statutory processes
  • Preparation and negotiation of claims
  • Progressing claims through to legal completion
  • Where necessary, working with client’s legal team in making referrals to the Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber) or at Public Inquiries
  • Sharing experience with and coaching the firm’s graduate surveyors in this discipline
Location: Home or Office
Personal Requirements: A MRICS qualified surveyor with a minimum of 2-5 years’ relevant experience. Good communication skills. Strong attention to detail and excellent report writing, negotiation and presentation skills. A team player.
Other Requirements: Clean UK Driving licence and insurance for business purposes.
Salary/Package: £35,000 to £55,000 per year depending on experience.
