James Broadbent (jb@thomsonbroadbent.co.uk ):
James has spent the last 15 years specialising in compulsory purchase and compensation matters. In this time he has negotiated compensation claims on behalf of private individuals, landed estates, housing associations, local authorities and businesses in respect of residential, agricultural and commercial interests. Claims have ranged in value from several hundred pounds to several million. Schemes giving rise to these claims have included new bypasses and motorway extensions and upgrades throughout England, Wales and Scotland.

John Gay (jg@thomsonbroadbent.co.uk ):
John has over 30 years experience of compulsory purchase and compensation work in a career which has been spent in both the private and public sectors. He frequently deals with complex land acquisition cases and blight cases as well and Part 1 claims throughout southern England and South Wales.

Chris Robinson (chris@thomsonbroadbent.co.uk):
Chris has over 20 years of experience dealing with Part 1 claims, blight and land acquisition cases acting in both the private and public sectors. Since joining the private sector in the mid 1990’s he has regularly advised Housing Associations and Local Authorities on such matters. In recent years he has been actively involved in many major schemes including The M60, The M6 Toll, The Channel Tunnel Rail Link as well as numerous smaller scale projects throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
